More than 1900 exhibitors will present their international offerings on the world’s leading technical event for industrial plastics processing. Fakuma will take place in Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre from 13 to 17 October 2020.

Attention will be focused on the latest technologies which promise highly advantageous benefits, as well as processes and tools for efficient plastics processing by means of injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming and 3D printing.

Roughly 2000 exhibitors will provide a comprehensive overview of all plastics technologies at the 27th Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing in Friedrichshafen from 13 to 17 October 2020 – trade visitors will receive up-to-date information on processes, technologies and tooling covering all aspects of plastics processing … from injection moulding, in which Fakuma holds an internationally leading position, right on up to extrusion technology, thermoforming and 3D printing.

The trade fair will occupy all available hall space in the modern exhibition centre on Lake Constance. 1933 exhibitors from 40 countries and nearly 48,000 expert visitors from 126 nations came to Lake Constance in 2018. Trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG have announced that the world’s leading technical event for injection moulding will be even more international in 2020.

Further development at full bore: Everybody who’s anybody in the field of plastics processing will meet at the 27th Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing in Friedrichshafen from the 13th through the 17th of October, 2020. The technical event with an emphasis on injection moulding will occupy all available exhibition floor space in the modern exhibition centre on Lake Constance, and will be more international than ever before.

The Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing is an acknowledged industry and technology barometer where innovations covering all aspects of injection moulding are concerned, as well as associated issues such as materials, machines, periphery, processes and simulation. Fakuma continues to expand upon its leading position. 1933 exhibitors from 40 countries travelled to Friedrichshafen in 2018 to participate at Fakuma, and nearly 48,000 expert visitors from 126 countries attended the industry highlight on Lake Constance. Once again in 2020, the trade fair will approach the 2000 mark and occupy all existing exhibition floor space. Trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are announcing further increases in internationalism for the event.

The Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing, which is recognized as an industry and technology barometer, is verifying – in time-lapse mode – how quickly the plastics industry is evolving. The technical event with an emphasis on injection moulding continuously presents solutions offered by manufacturers, distributors and system integrators for mastering current and future challenges. Based on the great success of the event held in 2018 (1933 exhibitors from 40 countries gathered on Lake Constance for the first time ever), trade fair promoters P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are already planning for increased internationalism on all available floor space in 2020. “For years now we’ve been occupying all available exhibition floor space at the modern Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre, which is unfortunately only able to offer 85,000 square metres,” explains Bettina Schall, qualified business administrator and managing director of the event promoters.
